Renaissance Istanbul Polat Bosphorus Hotel

During our recent stay at Renaissance, we experienced superb service from the duty manager. We faced a technical issue upon checking in, but the manager quickly and professionally resolved it before we even had a chance to complain. His proactive approach made us feel comfortable and proud to have chosen Renaissance.

The location of the hotel is a bit far from everything, with limited convenient eating options nearby. We also encountered some billing confusion, with repeated charges and lack of clear communication.

Helpful staff, phenomenal view from 14th floor, clean and good breakfast, silent room despite busy street. Superb!

exceptionally clean hotel, loved to be very close to eateries, the popular taksim, the main sights thanks to unbeatable location. the room was non-smoking and the beds were extremely comfy. the staff was brilliant, courteous with every request. pool was nice.

Facilities were clean, even so Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Had a good xmas at this hotel. the rooms were decent and the Wi-Fi was fast. the location was key, being close to tourist areas. the view from the top floor bar/restaurant was beautiful.

The service was very, very bad. the maid didn't refresh toiletries or respect the Do Not Disturb light.

Exceptionally comfortable bed made my room lovely. The breakfast was perfect with variety of items.

The Bosphorus view from our room was spectacular, with a great balcony to sit and enjoy the sights. The cleanliness was impressive, and the bed was exceedingly comfortable. One minor drawback was the lack of a nearby metro station. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Great breakfast with a wide variety of options. Friendly staff and clean facilities. the beds were comfortable and the showers were modern and well-maintained. We also enjoyed the magical views from the top floor restaurant, which added a special touch to our city trip.

Some small things in the bathroom needed extra attention, like a toothpaste stain and soap rests. the restaurant on the top floor had a beautiful view, but the price-quality ratio for the dishes offered was not satisfactory.

This hotel offers exclusive amenities that fulfilled my luxurious needs. the spa and wellness centre provided a full body massage and beauty treatment. the rooftop pool provided a sun terrace with heated swimming pool and sun loungers. the restaurant offered a buffet breakfast with the option for in-room breakfast. the private facilities were exclusive and the location advantages were great.

Some of the staff were not as attentive as I had hoped, but it did not affect my overall experience.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing detailed explanations about the bus and metro system in town. The travel card for the bus and metro was conveniently available at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the room was quiet with a comfortable bed. The top roof restaurant and bar offered a romantic atmosphere with the best view in town.

Felt safe, no reason to complain.

This hotel had top-notch facilities and amenities, such as a clean and spacious swimming pool. The breakfast selection was diverse, with both Turkish and European options. The staff was friendly and attentive, paying close attention to every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city and its many eateries.

For us it was ideal.

The staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting restaurants and assisting with directions. Concierge and navigator desk were exceptional. The location was great, close to commercial centers and main roads. The Bosphorus view from the room was unique and spectacular. Extra time given for checkout.

However, the hotel was conveniently located very close to many popular bus stops and stations, making it easy to explore different parts of the city. Additionally, the hotel was situated in the Besiktas area on the European side of the city, which offered a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

The location of the hotel was not ideal for exploring the city, as it was not very close to any attractions or popular areas.

The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Bosphorus from the deluxe rooms and the rooftop bar. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the location is centrally located, making it easy to reach various attractions. The comfortable beds and clean facilities add to the enjoyable stay.

The hotel is situated in a prime location, with many important sites nearby, including some great restaurants by the water. The centre of the city is only a short distance away, making it a great base for exploring. The rooms are spacious and come with a stunning view of the city and the Bosphorus. The breakfast offers a good selection of tasty food, making for a great start to the day.

The check-in service left a lot to be desired, with a long wait at reception which caused a frustrating delay.
